One house a day
Three to four hours on site, and no second appointment waiting on me to finish. An inspection run to a schedule is an inspection that stops looking when the clock says so.
Trestle is one inspector working the Hudson Valley. That is a deliberate size, not a stage on the way to a bigger one.
I framed and remodelled houses in Ulster County for fourteen years before I inspected one. That is most of what I bring to this: I have built the assemblies I am looking at, and I know which shortcuts get taken when nobody is going to see the work again.
I inspect one house a day. Two would be more money and a worse report, and the report is the only thing you are actually buying from me.

I do not fix what I find, and I do not take referrals from anyone who does. It is the only way a finding stays a finding rather than a quote.
The report is written to be handed to a contractor, an agent or a seller without translation. No grading scales, no colour codes to look up.
Kingston, Rhinebeck, New Paltz, Saugerties, Woodstock, Red Hook, Highland, Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, Newburgh and the towns between them.
Outside that and I am guessing about local building practice, which is worth less to you than an honest no. Ask anyway — if it is close, I will usually come.
Send the address and your closing date. We confirm a time the same business day, and the current wait for an appointment is three to four days.
